The fried oysters and crab cake dinner were fantastic. The service was great too.
This place is under new management as of this year. Never had a bad meal before then. My first time here under new management- my rock fish was over cooked and marinated poorly, no garlic in the garlic mashed potatoes, steak and cheese sandwich was mediocre, my friend ordered fries but got chips. The service and drinks are better than before, the new deck is nice, the openness at the inside bar is a nice change. Bottom line- the place is great, but need to get their kitchen in line with the rest.
The restaurant side is coming along from the initial opening! Good food, atmosphere, scenery. They starting hosting brunch which is a good thing.
The marina side kind of sucks. The new guy they have managing the place quickly ruined our experience dealing with the marina. And I heard he fired Carlos. May start looking to some of the other marinas in the area.
Great service thanks to our waiter, Brian. I ordered the Wednesday crab special and was pleased to see the majority of the dozen were medium sized instead of all the small I got last year (twice). The french fries and hush puppies were so good I was tempted to fill up on those and take my entire dozen crab home with me.
Great family place. The crew here are out of this world, very polite and friendly. View is amazing.
